Neither Child, Nor Senior

Colin is a high school freshman, actually. I love to see parents bringing kids in when they are this age, because it’s so rare. It’s also a time–just like all the other times in their lives–that will pass us by before we know it. By the time most of us are adults, we may have nice professional photographs of us as infants and toddlers, then again as seniors. All too often, there are only poor snapshots to document the times in between. So I was really happy to be able to do this session! Colin is an outgoing and talkative kid with an interest of his own in photography, so he was able to follow along somewhat with the technical aspects of the shoot. A few from his session:
