Coralville Dam Control Tower
May 26th, 2008 by Todd~~~
Recently I jumped into the world of landscape and long exposure photography, after getting some solid tips from my buddy Shawn at Prolific Photography. I feel lucky to have this nice perspective, because the water is not often up this high (though it’s actually gone down some in the last week). With high school senior season approaching, I may not have time to do much of this kind of photography, but I am definitely hooked, so I’m sure I’ll be doing it whenever my schedule allows!

Coolest picture of a local landmark I’ve ever seen. AWESOME!

That’s really beautiful, Todd. I bet it looks a bit different now with the spillway near its crest. I’d love to see more of your take on local landmarks like this.

Thanks! I am planning a series of local landmarks, which will eventually be offered as limited edition prints. I have a few in mind, but am certainly open to suggestions for others if anyone has them!
