A Walk on the Prairie

This time of year I don’t get to do much photography for myself, but since I’m waiting for a new belt for the elliptical trainer, I decided to go for a walk and bring the camera along.  Mostly vegetation shots, but I did catch a lurking arachnid and an apparently foundered caterpillar:

    Good to see you getting some personal shooting time even though you’re so busy! I LOVE the caterpillar shot – the colours are stunning; the eaten end of the leaf is so rich. And the composition and DOF are just perfect.

    I really like these! Except the spider one, of course :) . I think the caterpillar’s my favorite also.
